Seed use means a clip guides an AI generation but does not appear in the result. It's licensed separately from our standard stock licence — no exclusivity, and no change to any licence you already hold.

You can request a report that displays the ids, titles, metadata and coverframes that match your needs — including human-origin-only selections that exclude AI-generated clips. Run multiple reports with different conditions and combine them into a single file.
Datasets are filtered for near-duplicates before delivery, and every clip carries its clearance and creator-consent record — the documentation your legal team will ask for in an EU AI Act review.

A text prompt describes a shot; a clip shows it. Camera movement, lighting, pacing, framing, texture and natural motion are hard to pin down in words and easy to pass in a reference clip — the model receives the specifics exactly, instead of your best description of them.
That precision saves work in practice: fewer prompt rewrites, fewer discarded generations, and a consistent look across a series when the same seeds anchor every shot. Real footage also carries real-world motion and light that generated results inherit — the things that read as "off" when a model has to invent them.

And seed use is one channel, not the only one — the same catalog is available through normal search and standard licensing, bulk dataset delivery, or end-to-end API integration: run searches against our engines (keyword, open search or AI search), list and license the results, and fetch and serve the clips through the Reseller API — for stock resale, backgrounds, editing tools or generation seeds alike.
